Chrono Crusade: Story's End

A/N: Alight, this is a poem I wrote that's based off the ending of Chrono Crusade. As implied-
WARNING: SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE ENDING TO CHRONO CRUSADE, DO NOT READ THIS!!!
Seriously, people. The ending to Chrono Crusade is one of THE BEST endings I have ever seen, so I'm going to shout at anyone reading this without watching the ending of the anime. This is not based off the ending of the manga, so-
IF YOU HAVE READ THE ENDING OF THE MANGA, BUT NOT THE ANIME, THIS APPLIES TO YOU, TOO!!!
The ending of the anime and the manga are completely different, so don't assume just because you've watched/read one of them that you know the other. Sure, they were both done by the same person, but they're still completely different.
Alright, now that I've scared away most of the readers, let's begin!

Story's End

The sun slowly sinks, lower and lower,

I squeezed your hand,

The clock’s hands tick,

Tears pour out my eyes, you hold me tight,

What had we fought for?

Why had we fought?

The sun is falling, farther and farther out of reach,

I hug you tighter, never wanting to let go,

The clock’s hands come closer and closer to midnight,

I enjoy the feelings we share,

Is it wrong to wish for more time?

Is it wrong to be afraid of death?

The sun is a thin line on the horizon,

The pain, the emptiness, the fear,

Tick, tick, tick,

The happiness, the love,

Why am I so helpless?

Why couldn’t I protect you?

The sun disappears,

I rest my head against yours, we lean on each other,

The clock’s hands reach midnight,

I need you, you need me,

Is it really over?

I am one tiny drop,

Striving to reach something far larger than myself,

You’re always there,

Another tiny drop with me,

Can we really fight the flow of the world?

Do we continue to fight the battle we won?

No,

Our fight was over,

We could finally rest,

Together.

Yet, we can’t forget,

The sacrifices that were made,

For us to win our battle,

The people that helped us,

Believed in us,

And were waiting for us.

Darkness envelopes the world,

We return to the river of time,

Your clock’s hands won’t tick again,

And neither will mine.

No matter what happens,

Even if we die,

Our happiness will never die,

Our love never will.

Our pain dies,

We no longer have to fight,

Our emptiness dies,

And my fear disappears.

Wherever we end up,

I hope to stay with you,

I’d follow you to Hades,

Resting eternally against each other,

Together forever.

Fullmetal Alchemist? Chapter One

Chapter 1

Ella groaned as someone tried to shake her awake. "Go away..."

"WHAT THE HELL ARE SOME GIRLS DOING IN MY ROOM!" Ella snapped up and looked at the person before she recognized the golden eyes and hair that was pulled into a short braid.

"IT'S ED!"

Ella's POV

I nearly jumped out of my skin when I saw the bond haired boy shaking me awake.

"Um, nii-san, I don't thing it's right to shake a girl like that..." I rubbed my eyes. Al was here, too? I looked around, and Sabrina was groaning, still half asleep.

Am I dreaming? I couldn't come up with a better explanation for waking up in Ed and Al's usual room while they were staying in Central.Well... If it's a dream then I can do anything I want... Grinning evily, I gradded Ed's shoulders and tugged him so that he was facing me, and all in one swift fluid motion, I leaned in, and... kissed him.

His lips were soft, and tasted like cherries. Strange, I'd never felt this much detail form a dream before. Now that I had though about, it was probably the most realistic dream I'd ever had.

I closed my eyes, trying to imprint every detail into my brain, so that when I woke up, I wouldn't forget. Even if it wasn't real, and it was just a dream, this was the best first kiss, ever.

I felt someone shove me on my shoulders, causing our kiss to be broken. I fell back and hit the ground. That hurt...

Wait, it hurt? You don't feel pain in dreams, so that meant... this wasn't a dream.

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING! WHO GAVE YOU PERMISSION TO KISS ME!" Ed turned around, his face bright red, and stormed out of the room.

"Um... Sabrina?" Sabrina looked at me, still really confused. Even Al looked really confused. "Can I talk to you outside?" Without even waiting for a response, I grabbed her arm and pulled her outside.

"Dude, you just kissed Edward Elric! This is the weirdest dream ever..." Sabrina was spassing.

"Okay, yeah, I know. But here's the thing... Um... I don't think this is a dream... When I fell, it actually hurt."

"WHAT? Does that mean you really just kissed Edward Elric, in the flesh?"

"I guess so..."

"Aw! No fair! Now I wanna go kiss Al! So, how was your first kiss? Or should I say rape... does that even count as a rape? I mean, I was against his will... I'll have to look that up online." Sabrina was getting off-topic again.

"I know, alright? It was... amazing, but it wasn't the right guy." Sabrina looked at me, confused.

"What do you mean? Then why'd you kiss him?"

"Because I thought this was a dream! If I'd known this was real, then I wouldn't have done it! That was my first kiss... I always imagined it being with a sweet boy who'd never yell, under a willow tree by a lake or something romantic like that. Not with a kid who's almost a year and a half younger than me, had anger management issues, is short-" Sabrina shot me a glare "-no offense, Sai-chan- and it's against his will! WAH!" I started crying. (In a comical, manga way.)

"Don't worry. I'm sure if we explain things, then it'll all work out. I'm sure he'll understand!"

"You're just saying that, aren't you?"

"*sigh* Pretty much. By the way..."

"Hm?"

"WE'RE IN THE F.M.A. WORLD! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? THIS IS SO AWESOME! I CAN'T BELIVE-" A sweat drop formed on the back of my head. Well, at least some things never changed.
